Steil puts a fully-charged power bank in your hand in seconds ā borrow one, top up your phone, drop it back when you're done. No app drama. No dead battery. No stress.
What is Steil?
Steil is a power bank rental network. Walk up to a Steil machine, grab a charged battery, and keep moving. Pay a small flat fee, leave a refundable deposit, and get it back the moment you return the bank. It's the simplest way to stay charged when you're out all day or night
How it works
Tap to pay at the machine. A 3.50 fr flat, plus a refundable 20 fr deposit. Out pops a fully-charged power bank with the cable you need.
Top up your phone on the move, at the festival, in the city, wherever the day takes you. The bank is yours until you're done.
Drop the bank into any Steil return box. Your deposit is released automatically. That's it, no queue, no hassle.
Why Steil
Most charging lockers make you find a free slot to return and if it's full, you're stuck. Steil splits things apart: one machine hands banks out, a separate drop box takes them back. It just works, even on the busiest day.
Tap, take, leave. No accounts to set up at the machine, no waiting around.
Returns go into there own stations, so there's always room to drop yours.
Your 20 fr hold is released the moment the bank is back. Borrow, return, repeat.
Return boxes run on their own battery ā so Steil can pop up anywhere, even where there's no power outlet.
Where to find us
Steil is launching at festivals. Grab a bank on your way in, charge through every set, and drop it at the exit on your way out. Stay connected, snapping and sharing from the first act to the encore.
Shops, venues, transit hubs and high-traffic public spaces. The plan: Steil machines in the places you pass every day, so a low battery is never a problem again.
Spot a machine, tap to borrow, and get back to your day.
